Hello, My Name is
Focused, Motivated, Passionate.
Hi there, and thanks for stopping by to my personal training site!
I’m Chris Justis, a personal trainer, coach, model, & entertainer here is my story.
Born and raised in Nebraska, where the “midwest work ethic” was originally installed in me at an early age. I grew up as a very active kid who was always on the go, running around playing, skateboarding, and riding bikes. I eventually gravitated towards playing football and track/field in school, and truly fell in love with the personal battle of training for the sports, even more than actually playing them. This was the seed that was planted early in me that started my love for weight training, and it still continues to this day.
That seed led to me joining Gold’s gym at 16 and completely diving into the bodybuilding world, competing as a teen garnering national attention, and leading me to choose to make the leap to move out of Nebraska to Las Vegas.
I came to Vegas with “stars in my eyes” wanting to dive into both the bigger bodybuilding world, and the booming entertainment world. I spent my first 12 years here in Vegas performing in different shows on the strip, working corporate events/conventions, getting print/commercial work as a fitness model, competing in regional NPC bodybuilding shows, while also starting and honing my personal training business and style during these years.
Chris Justis
I always knew in the back of my mind that the entertainment and bodybuilding worlds have a “shelf life” that doesn’t last forever, so in 2008 I chose to focus on being a full time personal trainer and part time model/entertainer. I got all of my clients at the time signed up at a brand new LVAC(Las Vegas Athletic Club) that was opening up near my house then, and spent the next few years building up my clientele. During this time I met and started training a prominent local spinal surgeon who was in the process of opening his own surgical center. I ended up teaming up with Dr Lemper to create a personalized rehabilitation area inside his new practice, and was the main rehabilitation specialist in charge of helping patients to get stronger after surgery, or to avoid surgery all together. Then I had my own life changing injury where I tore both my quad tendons completely off my knee, while also making worse an already existing low back injury, and then developed a DVT(deep vein thrombosis) blood clot in my left leg while recovering. Definitely a very rough time for me to get through, BUT looking back it was also something that allowed me to experience and feel what many others go through dealing with injuries, which in turn led to me growing as a personal trainer and rehab specialist.
I recovered well from my injuries, got myself back on track and back in good functioning shape, and am now here to help YOU face and achieve your own goals!
